Environment Work
The Imperator Scottorum Association has not yet managed to scrape up the funds to do any sort of environmental work, but when we do, we have several plans for things to do.

The person in charge of our environment work is currently our Steward, The Baron of Moydow.
Reforestation

Ireland suffered a lot of deforestation under British occupation. We think it is time to gain back a few (thousand) trees. We actually do not need money to do this. We encourage everyone reading to go out and plant at least one tree on your property.
Land stewardship

This is a fantastic idea by Chief O'Nowan. The idea is that in the national parks and nature preserves, people and clans are given a small plot of land on which to build a house. They will not have to pay taxes on the house or property, but they and their families will be required to maintain the parks and preserves in exchange.
This, we believe, has the additional benefit of helping to mitigate the affordable housing crisis in Ireland right now.
We believe that having more people working with nature would create more of an appreciation for it among the people.
Community gardens & greenhouses

This is yet another thing that would be of massive benefit, if done right. The first places to try it would be the national parks and natural preserves, and the residents thereof who tend to the greenhouses and gardens get to eat the food from them free of charge.
Ideally, these gardens may eventually evolve into ecological-friendly permacultures.
Nature Preserves

Here is what the previous two bits have been referencing. Ireland has beautiful swaths of nature, unparalleled in the Isles. We believe it would be in the best interest of the people to have more national parks and natural preserves.
Deposit Return Scheme

This is an idea the Prince Díolún got from America. The idea would be to set up as many "bottle redemption centres" as possible dotted across Ireland. The idea is that people go in and deposit their "returnable" bottles of plastic, glass, and metal, and in exchange they get a few cents back for each one. They then get a check for the total amount that they can cash nearby, or get the cash handed directly to them.
Free admission

This is perhaps most important of all: make admission to Ireland's national parks and nature reserves and resevoirs free. If people do not have to pay to see the most beautiful places on the island they call home, they will be more likely to go and see them. When they go and see the majesty and beauty of Ireland for themselves, they too shall surely share in our dream to preserve it.
